I don't have a laser printer.  What can I do??

This is a very common question I get asked.  DecalPRO® is a fantastic product and is used by many people for a wide range of applications, but the laser printer is an essential part of the process.  For some people the biggest hurdle is having access to a laser printer.  If you do not have access to a printer at home here are some alternative options for you to consider:

 

Option 1.

Those that do not have a printer might know a friend that will print your TTS pages for you, or indeed you might even have access to one at work.  If you do have such access please ensure that your friend or employer is happy to let you print with their machine!

 

Option 2.

Another alternative is to use a high street copy house to print your papers.  While most will accommodate your requirements, it's worth checking with them before you visit to make sure they will print onto the special TTS paper you are supplying!  I would recommend you take the entire packet of TTS paper to show the operator that the packaging showing that the product is suitable for a laser printer.

As this product is made in the USA it is only available in US Letter size which is wider than, and shorter than the UK A4 size, so it is worth checking that they will take that size or you will need to trim the paper width to be the same width as A4 paper, again check with the copy house beforehand. 

 

You then have the option to print from a file, in which case you will need to ensure compatibility with the service provider.  Alternatively you can print the design onto standard paper using your inkjet printer and take it to the copy house to be copied with a laser copier onto the TTS sheet.  Remember US Letter paper is slightly shorter when printing your designs onto A4 paper!

 

Option 3

Flightline Graphics can work as a print bureau for customers who may find it more convenient to any of the options above.  If you provide the artwork I can print and despatch it to any UK address for £5.00 including postage for the first sheet, and any additional sheets for an extra £1.00 per sheet.  Customers interested in this service should contact me so we can discuss compatibility of the files you want to send.  If you are thinking of sending files to me that you have not yet produced, contact me so we can check you are using software that can export the file in a compatible format for my software.

 

Additionally you may not have the ability or inclination to design intricate designs you require so you may want Flightline Graphics to produce the artwork for you.  Naturally the price will depend on the complexity of the artwork required as all time has to be accounted for.  Contact us for details.
